[Qgis-user] Qgis - automate operation

Dear all,

I'm trying to automate some basic operation (import of raster, select color palette, ...).

I assume it is possible to do it with Python scripts but I don't know this programming language... Do someone knows a good tutorial to learn how to use Python with Qgis? Is there some "library" with python script I can found for automation?
