[Qgis-user] QGIS 1.8: Framing a map with user defined size in the map composer

Hi folks,
I encounter some problems with map layout.
I have to generate maps with different sizes (user-defined) and they all
have to have a thin black rectangular frame around them.
Problem is that parts of the frame are missing in the exported pdf.
For example:
papersize 13,4 cm x 9 cm
map size same
frameline width 0.1 units (what units by the way?)
position and size: anchor point upper left corner (x=0, y=0); papersize
In the rsulting pdf frame lines will be missing on bottom and to the right.
Choosing a map size which is "papersize - line width" does not solve the
problem.
Choosing a different anchor point (center) neither solves the problem.
Am I missing something?
Best
Johannes
