[Qgis-user] disabled snap!!

In order to snap to vertex in a layer you must set a tolerance setting, either in map units or pixels. I usually use 15 pixels and works fine. What tolerance setting did you use?

Hello everybody, I don't manage to snap on the vertex one polygon that I want to create  inside a shapefile, because I need to create records in the attribute table for a land use job. 
I've enabled editing and snap to vertex and segment in snap options, but I continue not to be able to snap the new polygon that I want to make. I've qgis 1.8. 

Please someone help me, thank you a lot!
