[Qgis-user] Dufour OSM import: success but no layer

HI all!

I attempted

vector> Openstreetmap> import

dialog informed me of a successful operation, but where are the 3 layers?
Map pane permanently empty :(

windows installer
same on 64 or 32 bit versions and different machines
