[Qgis-user] Dufour OSM import: success but no layer

I am also having trouble figuring out how to load OpenStreetMap data. I have not found the documentation for this feature. I first chose Vector/OpenStreetMap/Download Data and I got a file with a .osm extension. I then chose Vector/OpenStreetMap/Import Topology form XML. A window opened where I could choose my downloaded data and save a new file with a .db extension. I then chose Vector/OpenStreetMap/Export topology to SpatiaLite. I got a window that lets you set the export type and a layer name. Clicking ok seems to process but nothing shows up on the map. Do I need to check the items available in the window after pressing the Load from DB button?

I just tried clicking the button a second time and I get an error message saying that the layer already exists. Then the layer does show up. Perhaps this is a bug.
