Hi,
Apparently there are a lot of improvements in OpenLayers plugin.
It use to be that project with OpenLayers only could use EPSG 3857
(pseudo Merkator)
projection. It seems it is different now.
Bit still there is a problem:
1. Assuming that there is a project with one GeoTIFF (or other GIS
raster / vector data)
in UTM.
2. Use OpenLayers to add Google or OpenStreets later.
3. Use Project / Project properties menu to set on the fly projection
and assign project
projection as UTM (NOT as Pseudo Merjator!) Everything seems
working correctly so far
4. Go to print composer and create parer map. Everything looks right in
map composer.
5. Print / create PDF. Now Google Layer is misplaced considerably from
other GIS data!
It is still about the same place, but difference is few hundreds
meters or so.
This is also true for OpenStreet or Bing layers if they are used -
the same shift.
There should be no licensing restrictions at least for OpenStreets.
Thank you!
Mikhail
