[Qgis-user] Using xytools after installation of QGIS 2.0

I've recently installed QGIS Dufour which is great. The only problem I've
encountered so far is that it doesn't seem possible to install the xytools
plugin which I'm currently using for an ongoing project.
A search on the web seems to indicate that the plugin is not available for
Dufour, so I'll need to continue using Lisboa. This would be fine, but
since installing 2.0, I get an error message when trying to use the xytools
plugin: "There is a problem when loading a python module which is needed to
read/write Excel files". Is there something I can do to get the plugin
working again in Lisboa? Thanks, Sarah.
