[Qgis-user] UTM WGS84 grid and Atlas mapping

Dear all,

I need to create a UTM WGS84 5x5 km or 10x10 km grid and, after, I  
need to make several maps for an Atlas, converting point data to grid  
data.

Could someone be so kind to send me some suggestions on the most  
appropriate ways to perform these tasks?
