[Qgis-user] GPS live tracking doesn't capture elevation/altitude

Hello everyone,

I have a high precision GPS with cm level precision.

The elevation altitude is not saved when capturing waypoints (QGIS 1.8 and master)  with GPS live tracking.
How can I save it without copy and paste from the position window.
I can see the altitude displayed in the position window with 1 decimal precision. Is there a setting somewhere to display it with 2 decimals?
