[Qgis-user] Announcing the release of QGIS 2.0

Hi Tim,
I checked the variables defined in QGIS2 and that points to version 2.7 of
Python and I also have a python variable set for version 2.5. Technically,
this should not cause a problem and you can have multiple copies installed.
I do not have ArcMAP or ESRI stuff installed.
Never had this issue with 1.8 of QGIS; as I say it does not prevent the
program running looks lit it is confused as to what to do during startup
when initialising Python (which is where the window error pops up).
If you know what the names of possible dll files are to check, then I can
have a look.
