[Qgis-user] Qgis 2.0 : no ECW support

Jurgen,
What about linux users? Why can't we have ECW and MrSID support out of the
box?  Sorry, I've never understood why Linux users need to have, as someone
once said here in this forum, "a brain to shell interface" to compile those
raster formats and use them...
