[Qgis-user] edit polygon point jumps uncontrollably

Hi again

Now I have another more serious problem.

In 2.1 master, when I edit a polygon layer I can move a point to the
location I intend  but as soon as I release the mouse button, the point
jumps outside of the canvas, and sometime way outside meaning the lines to
the point are about parallel.

I had this behavior occasionally also with previous versions of QGIS but now
in 2.1 it seems persistent.

What can I do?
