[Qgis-user] Save the viewextent of a WMS as geotiff

I have added a wms of a orthophoto to my map in 2.0.1. Dufour.

I want to save a part ( the viewextent) as a geotiff for further use.

QGIS seems to be saving the data when I use 'save as'
But nothing is actually saved.

Does anyone have a suggestion what goes wrong?
