[Qgis-user] Plugin - draw a circle and measure

Hi Jonathan

I was looking at the same problem a couple of weeks ago and the closest I came was using a buffer round a point where I could specify the radius.

I logged a feature request with the developer through github for the Rect Oval Digitising Plugin asking for exactly that - https://github.com/vinayan/RectOvalDigitPlugin/issues/1

If I was up to speed on Python I'd give it a go...

Hi List,
I was wondering, is there a plugin that would allow the digitisation of a circle, but during the digitisation would also show the user the radius of the circle?
This way a user can draw a circle of 500m (or whatever) radius easily.

Could also potentially be useful for other shapes.

I've dabbled with the plugins and there's certainly one for digitising circles, but none does the measuring as best I can see. Is there one I'm missing?
