[Qgis-user] QGIS 2.2 - Remove layer dialog

Hi Etienne,
I'm fine with the solution of Jef: make it an option (now that it is done).
But in general: I do not like the fact that we had, I think, a
discussion of about 2 weeks with several people, which is thrown out of
the window because one reopens an issue and makes some noise. Apparently
the time we/I put into this discussion was not worth my time.
Besides this: I do not think having an option for everything is the best
option ;-)
Better to have a sensible default, have a discussion/voting and then
deal with that. An extra setting I see as a bad compromise here. The
Settings dialogs are getting more and more crowded with options I do
really not know anymore for which minimal detail it is giving me options
for.
Please let us create some (ui/hud) vision and hold on to that, so we are
not driving on user comments only.
Regards,
Richard Duivenvoorde
