[Qgis-user] Multipolygon Editing Process

All,

Just wondering if anyone can recommend the easiest process in QGIS to do a recurring task, a simplification of process is below:

	1) Oracle dataset containing 2 multipolygon records (A and B), both with 100+ parts/polygons
	2) Need to "move" one specific part/polygon from record A to B

Currently I'm doing (what seems) a long-winded approach involving making a temporary copy using "Multipart to singleparts", "Delete part" from A, then pasting part into B from temporary copy. I feel like I'm missing something obvious?!
