[Qgis-user] Vector to raster not working for a line shapefile

Dear list members,

I have a shapefile with lines (rivers) which I added a field with value 1
to rasterize,

I tried to rasterize the shapefile with "vector to raster" in the Raster
menu but I obtain a raster with values min = 0 and max = 0.
