[Qgis-user] Interpolation error qgis 2.4

Dear list, I'm trying to interpolate some values from a point layer. I use
Raster > Interpolation > IDW (Algorithm). I select the entry point layer
and field, out file name and go. After a second this error shows up:

ERROR 5: Band count must be 1

Any tip?
