[Qgis-user] nodata color in rasters

I suppose the Nodata value is the value automatically set as transparent 
under the tab "Transparency" in the raster's "Layer Properties".

In my case, this value is: -3.40282e+38. (other possible values? 255, 
-32768, 9999, ... ?)
