[Qgis-user] Buffer distance doubt

Hi everyone,

I've got a doubt about buffer in the field "Distance"... why are 
multiple of 100km?

I mean, if I insert *1*, the buffer is about *100*km, and so on.

Anyone can resolve my doubt?
