[Qgis-user] procedure for submitting bugs

Hello,

some weeks ago, I found a problem in QGis.
It seems the MSSQL vector layer provider doesnt work correctly when accessed 
via python.

I filed a Bug with a description of the problem:
https://hub.qgis.org/issues/11076

Unfortunately I got no response on that.

Now my question(s):
Did I make a mistake by publishing the problem like this?
Is the description to complicated?
Should I have contacted a specific developer first? Which one?

What can I do better to get a response on my problem?
