"would be" for who? have you done a poll? :-)

To reproduce this feature you has to:
 1) create a shapefile
 2) copy & paste feature
 3) style the shapefile
 4) print it

that's a 4x work, before was sufficient to select a feature and amen...

for me QGIS work should be simple, users doesn't want a new GRASS...
