[Qgis-user] Disable offset of symbol in key for QGIS

Hi there

I am using a PNG image to symbolise a point layer I have and use an offset for my symbol so that is points at the precise position on my map. Unfortunately when adding a legend to the QGIS print composer the offset is retained so it doesn't sit directly next to my layer as below.

Just wondering if there are any ways that I can disable symbol offsets for the key or clever work arounds?
