[Qgis-user] Seasonal flood simulations

Hi,

I need to simulate a seasonal flood in a river.  The river has a good slope so this is not like just adding a static dam or flooding a lake. What processing module would be  recommended for this type of flooding simulation?  Any good articles to recommend? I am working with lidar DEMs.
