[Qgis-user] corrupted file

Hi, 
Just rename the file to .jpg

	I also have this error message (Project file read error: unexpected end of file at line 101 column 1 for file). The back up file is present (.jpg~) and looks to be the correct size but I can't open it. How can I open this file, or restore the original?
