[Qgis-user] Labeling or applying categorised symbology to layer field description

Hello,
Is it possible to label or to apply  categorised symbology to a layer field not with the keys values but with values which are defined in the tool editing widget in "layer""fields" form ?
I suppose the answer is NO. May be is there a workaround but without dealing with relation...?
