[Qgis-user] MacOS installation: GSL?

Thanks, Junior and William.
I ended up installing GSL separately just in case. (And I made sure I 
already had MatPlotLib.) But it's good to know that, at least in the 
mailing list archives, we've straightened out the fact that as of 2.6, 
it's not necessary to install GSL separately.

Incidentally, when I ran the QGIS installer, it told me that SQLite 3 
was a missing requirement, and wouldn't continue the installation.
So I installed SQLite 3, after which the QGIS installer worked fine.

So I guess SQLite 3 should be added to the requirements on both of the 
web pages mentioned below? So the list should be:
- GDAL Complete
- SQLite 3
- MatPlotLib

Another nice bit of info to have somewhere would be, how do I tell what 
I already have installed? E.g. last night before I installed GDAL 
Complete (having installed QGIS 2.4 and GDAL in the past), I had 
/Library/Frameworks/GDAL.framework, and I wasn't sure if that was GDAL 
Complete or just GDAL. So I installed GDAL Complete; but it apparently 
installed in the same folder. And the 
/Library/Frameworks/GDAL.framework/Versions directory still has the same 
contents as before: 1.11 and Current (which is a symlink to 1.11). So 
how do I know whether I have GDAL Complete? And similarly for the other 
requirements.

Thanks for all your contributions to make QGIS available and usable for 
the masses!
