[Qgis-user] Couldn't load SIP module.

Hey,

You can try a couple things. This error rears its ugly head all the time.

Things to try:

1.) Recompile the following packages from the ABS in the following order:
sip, pyqt4, qscintilla
      a) Then recompile QGIS.

2.) Check the "sources" portion of the PKGBUILD and see if it's because of
the console.py patch being masked out. You can reference the qgis PKGBUILD
to see how that patch is applied in the "prepare" section. This console.py
patch hasn't been merged into upstream yet, though a pull request was
issued some time ago now. IMO it should be merged ASAP because it's a
breaker bug.
