[Qgis-user] TAB mapinfo file : editing ?

Hi,
For now, MapInfo is on a read only basis.  The best is to import it in QGIS then save in .shp.  Remember that .shp cannot store more than one object type at a time (point, lines.. ).  You can then reimport to MapInfo as .shp or you the universal translator.  If you search for .wor in the QGIS plugins, you will find a workspace Importer.  The last time I checked, obj styles were not imported but it's useful for MapInfo users.
Good luck!

	Dear all,
Up to now, I have worked with mapinfo and tab files.
Is there a way to edit mapinfo (reading and writing) file with qgis ?
Mitab seems to be a library  :
http://mitab.maptools.org/ But i did not understand the aim of this library.
Thank you to throw light for me.
