[Qgis-user] Line symbol behavior OR how to use chainage

Hi
I'm using QGIS 2.6 on win 7.
When editing a line element I used an Marker line with a Simple marker
(vertical line). I can edit the interval i.g. 5000 mm. I thought this
would be usefull for some kind of chainage - line element is an cable
and it should have a chainage. But the problem is when zooming in the
marker changes its geogrphical position. Position on monitor is somehow
fix. Is there a way to change this behavior?

For my cable-chainage I found a plugin - chainage. Works fine but I
didn't find a way to adjust the markers to my line element (the cable).
The markers should be vertical to the line but the lable I like to have
horizontal.
