[Qgis-user] Cannot activate grass

Dear all,

I am using QGis 2.8.1 on Ubuntu 14.04. Whenever I try to create a new
mapset with the GRASS plug I get the error message: "Cannot activate
grass". This issue has been reported by a Windows user at SE:

In his case he had to set the system user to "the lowest level" -
whatever that means - a fix that only applies to Windows. In my case I
am trying to create mapsets in a folder owned by my user, so there is
not much else I can do regarding permissions.
