Hi,.hdr is most a header text file that you can open with a txt editor like notepad++. Apparently, you can open the .flt (float point raster) if you modify it to a .BIL. See link.CheersNicolas

Subject: Use of file with ".flt"extension

	Hello ,
I'm working with the "Global width database for large rivers" which I've downloaded . The package includes a number of files . The one I can visualise on QGIS is the ".flt" one and it has got a ".hdr" file with.
the question is how can i use this ".flt" file so as to work with it in Qgis. I found that it needs to be converted to a format know by QGIS , and that this file contains binary 32 bits format I guess.
Any syggestions how can I work with this file ?
Thank you so much
