[Qgis-user] Recent Project, last used algorithm etc.

Hi,

I'm wondering where those things like recent projects,last used  
algorithms, activated core plugins etc are stored?

I completely removed 2.16 and the .qgis2 folder, and after reinstalling,  
all these settings and infos are still present.

How is it possible to make a really CLEAN install?

Using Linux Mint ubuntugis
