[Qgis-user] QGIS won't open Martian .img files

Adam,

It is expected that you cannot use directly the .img. The GDAL PDS driver 
needs to be provided with the .lbl file and it will then automatically load the 
.img.

I've tried opening http://pds-geosciences.wustl.edu/mgs/mgs-m-mola-5-megdr-l3-
v1/mgsl_300x/meg004/mega90n000cb.lbl with QGIS 2.14.3 / GDAL 2.1 on Windows 
and it works fine for me. Works fine on Linux too with at least all GDAL 
versions >= 1.11.
