[Qgis-user] Clearing the recent documents

Hello;
Does anyone know how to clear an entry in the recent documents list on the
QGIS startup on 2.12.x?
Tried to find the file the stores the document references but it doesn't
seem to be defined in any of the QGIS documentation.
