[Qgis-user] Turning off data providers in Browser panel?

All,

As the list of data providers available to QGIS grows, I wonder if there could be an option in the settings to toggle the visibility of certain data providers if they will not be used.

I'm not sure the history of the ArcGIS feature and map server nodes in the browser tree, but I, for one, would like to turn them off.
