[Qgis-user] Feature labels using joined data

Hi,
Is must block because the join file needs to be modified by the new label positions. Like you say, I imagine, it's a read only connection but I am not sure. I would try joining with a dbf file but you will probably have the same results. You could join the files then save them but that would give you multiple versions. Perhaps trying a database would solve the problem.
Perhaps the idea would be to have multiples x and y labels columns for different projects or else to export the label column as .csv that you could join later...
