[Qgis-user] Atlas Map Book Design

Okay, thanks Andreas. I appreciate your advice. It sounds like the
reporting mode does not replace the atlas, is that correct? So maybe the
atlas feature in both versions is the same? I don't know if I need the
reporting mode for multi-page maps.

And regarding the versions, not sure why one would have old and new running
in parallel, especially if they are not backwards compatible.

The new plug-ins for version 3, are there many of them or is that a slow
transition?  Overall, I have found version 2 plugins to be disappointing,
although there have been some exceptions. With many, it is not clear what
they are going to do or how to use them.

I find I am returning to Manifold GIS more and more to accomplish certain
things reliably.
