[Qgis-user] Convert WMS Layer to Vector

Finbar,
Short answer is no, unless the data source is also providing WFS. You can  check this by changing the last part  of the URL ".....wms?" to ".....wfs?" and paste add it as a WFS Layer, if there are any WFS layers available they will then appear in the list of Layers.

In the main, most WMS/WFS Providers will have this locked down anyway, with Rights and completely different WMS, WFS links.
