[Qgis-user] double click .qgs files

Hi, 

I have a question about the QGIS behavior of double clicking .qgs
files.

I have a number of .qgs files. 

For some of them, if I double click on .qgs file, it boots QGIS and
flashes the 'recent projects' screen for only a second and then opens
the map.

However, for other .qgs files, double clicking boots QGIS but stays on
'recent project' screen.

How can I change this behavior to let QGIS open the map without staying
on the 'recent projects' page?
