[Qgis-user] Fiel calculator issue

Hello everybody,
When i use the fiel calculator to calculate area the following happens:
I entered $a /1000000
The value thats pop up in the ‘output preview appears correct. Finally when I hit ok button the value appears like in scientific notation. My units are all correct (meters, km2, etc) The problem started like one month ago. The tool was running great before.
I will gratefull any help with my one.
