[Qgis-user] Preferred Coordinate reference systems for different regions of the world

Greetings,

What are the preferred coordinate reference systems for different regions?

So far for me 2163 for North America works for me.

However, I can't find one that is similar for Europe or Asia.

For Europe, I would like to get results that look like some of the 
exmamples on this page:
https://observablehq.com/@toja/five-map-projections-for-europe

I've been using 4936; but the result for me seems to be a poor 
approximation.

And for Asia, 3832.
