Thanks Andreas. I agree. I think working examples of adoption of QGIS will help convince sceptic Senior Managers really, and to allay their fear of unaffordable or unpredictable costs on running open source systems. I would hope QGIS user community could be encouraged to publish 1 page on such integrations. I searched osgeo.org and I only found one canton in Switzerland – I was probably not looking in the right place.

Separately, is there any work in  UX community within QGIS user group that is looking look into conceiving a mainstream accessible GUI, font faces and dialog designs – apologies if that comes across as utterly conventional mind set.

Hi Sanjay,

Such integration work is often very specific and customized to projects, IT environments and companies/organizations and I don't think you can find a lot of stuff on this topic online.

Also, it has probably more to do with databases and workflow processes, and not so much with QGIS (unless you use QGIS with Processing models, then QGIS could play a role).

Anything is possible, if you have good requirements and IT staff/admins that cooperate well with you.
