I just want a way to type in an address in QGIS and have it go to that location in my current map view. Is there something that I'm missing that's already in the Processing Toolbox or something? I am using 3.14 version.

If you're motivated and want to run a nightly release, you can use
https://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/google_maps_geocoder/

But otherwise, there's a handful of plugins which will expose address
searching to the locator bar (the bar in the bottom left). Eg.
https://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/nominatim_locator_filter/ is a good
choice!
