[Qgis-user] Counting features after opening project

Hello,

is there any other way to disable counting features immediately after
opening the project as it takes quite a while when there are more
layers with counting and count those features after the project is
loaded in the background?

I think it takes just too much time and this information is not really
crucial when opening project, it could be hand-started if required
immediately after opening in this case or it would update after a few
minutes when project is already open.

Any thoughts on that?
