[Qgis-user] Typo? "required ... donation" for training certificates?

Hi,

Thanks Jonathan and others for your feedback.

It is done - see
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Website/commit/bdcf0e51cff5caaaa90051c9a01f6b7beb3759dd
and will appear with the next nightly website update.

Background: I guess this wording comes from the fact that we were trying
to get non-profit status back then (about 3-4 years) and the term
"donation" sounded more acceptable to us for tax authorities to accept
non-profit status. Meanwhile the request for non-profit status was
rejected anyway and it is also clear that any services around
"education" in Switzerland aren't subject to VAT taxation anyway.

This denial of non-profit status by the Swiss (Zurich)-based tax
authorities doesn't change our behavior. We, as QGIS.ORG, still behave
and act as like we would be a non-profit - this is also written down in
our charter. In our country and province of our domicile, in
Zurich/Switzerland, all open source foundations and associations in
general can't get non-profit status. And even if we would get it, it
would mean an awful lot of restrictions - e.g. we couldn't pay
developers for bug fixing, etc.

Hope this clarifies a bit why this wording ended up like this in the
beginning (and apparently was never corrected).
