[Qgis-user] How to calculate surface volume from UAV DEM tif files in QGIS

Hi,

I imagine you are looking for the area? You can make a polygon and measure the area of a shape.  https://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/23355/calculating-polygon-areas-in-qgis

You can also use the distance measure tool in the toolbar and use the area option.
