I suspect my question yesterday "Processing not loading after update"
was related. Another update today delivered new GDAL packets, but then
QGIS didn't start at all: "Could not load qgis_app.dll".

It helped to copy OSGeo4W64\bin\gdal301.dll as gdal300.dll, now both
errors have gone.
