Hi All,
For what it is worth, I am running QGIS 3.20.2 under Win7 Pro (64
bit) and have not met any problems I could not solve. I used the
QGIS-OSGeo4W-3.20.2-1.msi installer without any issues.
Regards,
Ray Carpenter.

Hi Pat,
on Windows 7, QGIS LTR 3.16.x and QGIS 3.18.x will work without any
particular issue if you use the old OSGeo4W standalone .EXE installer or
the old OSGeo4W network v1 installer.
Instead, AFAIK, if you use the new OSGeo4W standalone .MSI installer or
the new OSGeo4W network v2 installer, then QGIS LTR 3.16.x and QGIS
3.18.x will not work or they will miss the Python support and all the
Python plugins (including the Processing core plugin).
QGIS 3.20.x is only available through the new OSGeo4W installers, so it
will not work (or it will work without the Python stuffs) on Windows 7.
Since QGIS 3.18.x is no longer supported, I prefer to use QGIS LTR on
Windows 7.
Regards.
Andrea
