[Qgis-user] Apple Silicon chip support status

I am wondering if anyone is successfully running QGIS on an Apple Silicon Mac? Or are MacOS users still using Intel machines? Thanks in advance for any advice.
Any advice on the feasibility of conversion of a “vintage” or “obsolete” Intel Mac to Ubuntu or other Linux is also welcome, with the goal of extending its useful life.
